We Really Do...

have the best school around. These are a few of the teachers (and the principal - farthest to the right) from Matt & Nolan's school. Every year they go caroling (after school, of their own free will) to the 4 (or 5) local sub-divisions. Just to spread some Christmas cheer to the families of their students. I am so thankful for a school and educators that care enough about their students, and love their jobs so much, they actually would do something like this. I. love. LFE.
Enjoy!

A Night in Bethlehem

We've been doing our Christmas Activity Advent again this year (unfortunately it hasn't gone as well as last year's, we've missed I think 3 activities for varying reasons...)

Anyway, last weekend there was an activity at our church called "A Night in Bethlehem". They encouraged everyone to dress in biblical attire and this is how Matt and Nolan looked.

They had a wonderful time and it was kind of a different and neat way to celebrate Chrismas...

The Really Real Cody

I know people often get sick of other people constantly saying how adorable and perfect their children are, but in the case of my little Cody, it's all true.
It probably has something to do with the fact that his needs are pretty simple right now, he is only 3 months old - so not much gets to him if those needs are being met
(and he's too young to disobey or talk back...).
On another tangent... I always laugh when I see pictures of him, 'cause it never really looks like him to me. But Phil took these a few weeks ago, and they are spot on. So, all you Cali/Zonie relatives, here is a sneak peak of the little one. 5 days and counting...

What I Found in Nolan's Bed

I went to tuck Nolan in one night and found a pirate instead!

And yes, he really was asleep, like out cold! And not seen in the picture, the necklace worn over the shoulder with the sword tucked in... yep, he really is a pirate, falls asleep with his sword and everything...

Matt's First Concert

not to shabby for 3 1/2 months of playing...

and can I just say, my Matt is adorable -

I love the puffed out cheeks and the small smile at the end.
