We really do live in such an awesome place... Our city had a Big Machine Day at the small local airport... Cody is (as most boys his age) obsessed with all things construction, so we thought we'd check it out. So glad we did! It was super fun & Cody (& Nolan & probably even Matt ;) ) loved it!!!

Spent a good long time talking to the gentleman here... Had no idea our small city has a SWAT team, and that this vehicle (that our city owns) was one of the first of it's kind and was even borrowed for use in NYC following 9/11... amazing stories and things this vehicle can and has done.
We also found out our city has a bomb squad (complete with robot)! Man we're cool!
Fun, fun day!
