I Dreamed a Dream...

So, I had my first dream about the gender of the baby last night... I dreamed we were at our ultrasound (scheduled for next Tuesday...) and the Doctor said "There is a 70% probability that it is a boy..." I know I dream in very impressive lingo. Phil laughed at me when I told him. He said "Why only 70%?"

Anyway, I was just curious - what do you all think the newest member of Team Armadillo will be?

Kindergarten - really?

Can you believe we go to sign this cute thing up for Kindergarten today?

I have been having small panick attacks thinking of him with a huge backpack on walking into that big school all alone. Of course he won't be alone. Matt'll be with him...

And then I remember this commercial & think - he's gonna love school!

Cinco de Mayo

Yep! That would be the 5th of May...

That's the day we go for the ultrasound.

That's also the day we (hopefully) find out what our new little one is -

Phil says he already knows what it is - "It's a baby!"

Friday's Project

I HATE ironing... there is a whole silly reason why, which I won't bore anyone with here, but basically, it is my least favorite "clean" hosehold chore.

Phil leaves for Boston on Sunday for a few days - a conference of some type... and needs to have more formal work clothes than he normally wears (jeans or shorts and polo shirts...), so I had to iron to help him get ready for that...

Here is the before picture of my Ironing Basket... scary.

I really shouldn't complain too much, I had this great view while I was ironing.

Look! It's ALL done, I can't remember the last time the basket was totally EMPTY! WOO HOO!

Just so you know - That was 24 "big" shirts, 7 "little" shirts & 1 pair of pants.

At the end I was left with this...

And 7 unmatched socks - where do those darn socks go?

Seriously, how boring is my life... I'm blogging about ironing - sheesh!

But I'm not really complaining about boring, I'll take boring...

Couldn't Resist...

Matt's birthday was a little over a month ago, I meant to post this sooner, but didn't get to it 'til now. I had him write thank yous as a Sunday activity... I just gave him a list of who he needed to write to and what they had given him & turned him loose. I was trying to take a nap, which is hard to do when your kids keep talking to you. That by the way is not in any way a complaint - it makes me giggle inside because the things they'll come tell me are so random! Anyway, back to the story...

So, he went off to his room and diligently wrote away. The next morning I went in his room, and there was the stack of thank yous, so, I picked them up and began reading. I picked them up in just the right order apparently, because they got funnier and funnier as I read... So here's where the "I couldn't resist" part comes in, I scanned them all (something is lost in the translation if you don't read them in his handwriting) and am sharing them here. It is just so fun to get a glimpse into the head of a nine year old boy.
